Job Description

Applus+ Reliable Analysis is a regulatory compliance test lab located in Madison Heights, MI currently seeking candidates for an Office Administrator. The Office Administrator reports to the Lab Manager and provides various levels of administrative support to the technical staff and customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the technical team with lab organization, both electronic and physical.
• Maintain accurate and updated schedules and spreadsheets.
• Answer phones and greet visitors.
• Communicate schedules and job status with customers.
• Complete shipping and receiving activities.
• Send invoices and assist with collections.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality within the lab.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring that supplies and equipment are adequately stocked and maintained.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance, calibration, and procurement of supplies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols within the lab.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other relevant documentation.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (B.S.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a team environment.
• Self-directed and improvement-minded.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a laboratory or regulatory compliance setting.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and regulatory standards.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
