Position Summary:Perform various operational duties within the Wealth Management Department. Open and close trust accounts; serve as the back-up for the Wealth Management Administrative Assistant and Wealth Management Operations Assistant II positions. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:None
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Collects and distributes all daily incoming mail and take outgoing mail to the mailroom on a timely basis
- Processes incoming checks including note payments, interest, and other trust income
- Processes ACH transactions for clients
- Processes transfers between client checking and trust accounts
- Custodial responsibilities with the temporary and permanent vault, including vault slip completion for officer signature
- Creates new accounts on accounting system
- Maintains account characteristics, receipt ticklers, disbursement ticklers, statement and memo ticklers, names/addresses and posting of Tax I.D. numbers
- Perform various operational duties
- Process checks with bills paid and mail
- Balances department with Maui on a daily basis
- Produce and process monthly birthday cards
- Report SOMC & CYFL stock prices

- Physical Demands
- Regularly sit for long periods of time, walk, bend over, stoop, and kneel.
- Regularly use hands and fingers to handle objects, operate equipment such as 10-key pad, calculator, copier, PC keyboard and mouse.
- Occasionally use hands and arms to reach, lift, move, carry, pull, and push files/objects up to 20 pounds while sitting, standing, climbing or walking.
- Regularly use eyesight for close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
- Regularly use the sense of hearing.
- Regularly speak clearly using the English language.
- Work Environment
- Standard office environment.
- Exposed to temperature conditions common at the time.
- Noise level is usually moderate/conversational.

- High school diploma or GED required; one year of accounting-related experience and/or training preferred.
- Proficient computer skills (i.e. Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel, Internet). Ability to utilize Excel functions preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively compose original correspondence and verbally exchange information with clients (internal and external) and vendors in a professional and positive manner.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, interpretive, and decision making skills to identify, evaluate, and resolve issues/cases; interpret data to provide solutions. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision, take initiative, problem-solve, work under time-sensitive deadlines, and handle multiple projects at once. Excellent time management, organization, and project management skills.
