Medical Assistant-Endocrinology Department

CMU Medical Education Partners is seeking a reliable, motivated Medical Assistant to support our busy Endocrinology Department. If you're looking for a position where your skills are respected, your work truly matters, and teamwork is more than just a buzzword we want to meet you!
In this role, youll work alongside experienced providers and dedicated coworkers who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. Youll be an important part of our patients health journeys, not just another face behind the desk.
What You'll Do
- Prepare patients for visits by taking vital signs, reviewing medication histories, and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Support providers directly during exams and procedures.
- Administer non-dose dependent medications and injections following current standards.
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and ensure infection control protocols are followed.
- Help with scheduling, patient education, and documentation to keep clinic flow smooth and efficient.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Be a key member of a collaborative, supportive healthcare team.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Graduate of Medical Assistant program; Certification strongly preferred.
- At least one year of experience in an ambulatory or clinical office setting.
- Valid CPR certification (American Red Cross BLS or American Heart Association BLS).
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Strong attention to detail, solid communication skills, and a commitment to putting patients first.
