About the Position

Shift: Days – 12 hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
ICU RN Responsibilities:
- Provide bedside critical care to ICU patients
- Monitor vitals, cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and patient status
- Administer medications and follow physician orders
- Respond to emergencies and rapid patient condition changes
- Float to Step Down and ED holding patients when needed
- Coordinate patient care with physicians and healthcare team
- Delegate tasks to support staff and supervise care activities
- Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge plans
- Maintain accurate charting in Cerner EMR
- Participate in patient care planning and handoff communication
Requirements

Required:
- 2+ years ICU experience
- Comfortable floating to ED & Step Down
- Active Michigan RN license at submission
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- NIHSS
Preferred:
- Travel experience
- Neuro surgical experience
- Open heart experience
