Job Description
We are seeking skilled Machine Operators for multiple openings on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. This role involves setting up and operating robotic welding machines, inserting and removing parts, and performing visual inspections. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Shifts/Pay
1st shift: 6am - 2pm ($16.50, $2 attendance bonus)
2nd shift: 2pm - 10pm ($16.50 w/ $1.50 premium, $2 attendance bonus)
3rd shift: 10pm - 6am ($16.50 w/ $1.50 premium, $2 attendance bonus)
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate robotic welding machines.
- Insert parts into machines and remove them after processing.
- Perform visual inspections on parts as they are processed.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Essential Skills
- 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- 6 months of machine operating experience.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in machine operation and production.
- Familiarity with robotic welding processes.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a metal facility equipped with both robotic and manual welding operations, featuring 40 robotic weld cells. The environment is designed for efficiency and safety, providing an excellent space for skilled operators to thrive.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Byron Center, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.
