Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and configure manufacturing equipment for production runs.
• Install, adjust, and align tooling, dies, and fixtures.

• Conduct first-piece inspections and obtain quality approval.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related mechanical or process issues.
• Document setup parameters and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine setup, adjustment, and operation within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and operational issues efficiently.
• Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in a production setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming or HMI configuration.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
