Profession: Land Analyst (Michigan)

We are seeking an experienced Land Analyst or someone eager to learn and grow in the role. This individual will need to have a proven ability to prioritize tasks and provide a high level of attention to detail. The successful candidate will participate in the logistical and administrative support of the land acquisition process and will need to integrate with a dedicated and energetic team. This role will be based out of our office in Mason, Michigan.

Responsibilities include

• Generate professional surface land and right of way documentation
• Maintain strong working relationships with other analysts and right-of-way agents to support, share workload, and complement one another for the benefit of clients and the company. Provide a range of professional administrative support for the surface land team
• Stay updated with regulatory requirements pertaining to land administration
  • General right of way analyst support including document preparation, review and packaging
  • Data management and tracking in various project and time management software
  • Managing client or project mailouts
• Maintain and update processes related to surface land management

What we require

• 1 3 Years experience as a Land Analyst or within the land industry
• Self-directed and motivated, capable of working both independently and under direction
• Professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to efficiently manage various tasks
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and related tools.
• Demonstrated ability to use emerging technologies (such as AI tools, GIS platforms, or automation software) to improve efficiency in the role.
• A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow

What will set you apart

• Land analyst or related experience across a variety of energy sectors
• Experience completing land title research across various states and jurisdictions, including reviewing and interpreting title documents, abstracts of title, ownership records, and related land instruments.
• Post-secondary education in a related field
