The RCMS Senior Operational Leader role is essential to driving operational excellence and consistent high-quality delivery across Healthrise Revenue Cycle Management Services (RCMS). This role requires strong day-to-day operational leadership, internal management, strategic collaboration, and client relationship oversight.
We are seeking an experienced operational leader with a proven track record managing both domestic and offshore teams, along with experience in vendor management and detailed operational workflows. RCMS functions span front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end revenue cycle operations. The ideal candidate will have exposure across all areas, with a strong emphasis on hospital and acute care back-end functions. This leader must be comfortable working in the details, managing diverse teams, and providing exceptional service to senior-level client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
- Ensure consistent, high-quality execution across RCMS operational projects
- Optimize workflows, processes, and operational outcomes
- Maintain strong operational standards across onshore and offshore teams
- Resolve issues quickly and ensure timely project delivery
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage onshore and offshore operational teams
- Foster clear communication, accountability, and high performance
- Build and support strong team culture across geographically diverse teams
- Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to operational staff and leaders
Vendor Management
- Oversee vendor relationships to ensure alignment with Healthrise standards and strategic goals
- Monitor vendor performance, service quality, and overall effectiveness
- Identify opportunities to improve offshore operations and drive greater efficiency
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as a key operational liaison for clients
- Manage client expectations through clear, proactive communication
- Address operational concerns and escalate issues as needed
- Build strong relationships with senior-level client stakeholders
Strategic Collaboration
- Partner closely with RCMS leadership and company executive leadership
- Support planning, strategy development, and execution of progressive operational solutions
- Help address both internal operational challenges and client-facing issues
- Ensure operational realities and feedback are incorporated into strategic planning
Measures of Success
- Achievement and consistency in operational KPIs and project metrics
- Effective management of global operational teams with measurable performance outcomes
- Positive client feedback related to operational delivery, responsiveness, and overall satisfaction
- Improved efficiency and cost management within vendor relationships
- Demonstrated operational improvements resulting from detailed operational management
Reporting Relationship
The Operational Leader will report directly to the RCMS Service Line Executive Leader and will work in close collaboration with the RCMS leadership team. This partnership will ensure strategic initiatives are effectively operationalized and that feedback from day-to-day operations is incorporated into strategic planning. Together, this leadership structure will support the Healthrise RCMS division in delivering operational excellence aligned with growth objectives.
- 7+ years of progressive revenue cycle operations leadership experience
- Multi-system or multi-region oversight strongly preferred
- Expertise in mid-cycle and back-end revenue cycle functions
- Prior experience managing onshore and offshore teams
- Strong track record of leading day-to-day operations with a strategic mindset
- Demonstrated success leading operational improvement initiatives across complex, matrixed healthcare organizations
- Proven ability to lead leaders, build high-performing teams, and drive accountability at scale
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to define, monitor, and act on performance metrics
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships across executive, clinical, and operational teams
- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills
- High ownership mentality, strong performance orientation, and comfort operating through ambiguity and transformation
