Facilities Maintenance/Janitorial
Summary:
Responsible for keeping inside and outside structures and infrastructures in proper repair and operating condition. Clean and maintain facility grounds and interior spaces.
- Basic janitorial duties. Cleaning break rooms, restrooms, taking out trash and mopping.
- Lawn landscaping duties. Mowing lawn, weeding, trimming, pruning and snow removal.
- Facility maintenance. Routine exterior/interior painting of facility, etc.
- Maintain 5S standards.
- Utilize computer software and company email system
- Delivery and pick-up of supplies and product.
- Pest control.
- Basic plumbing and electrical.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Ability to perform each essential job function. Must be able to understand and use basic hand tools and electric power tools. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. 0-6 months experience. Language Skills:
Must be able to read, write, interpret and understand the English language. Ability to read and understand company policy handbook, work instructions and other communications. Math Skills:
Basic Physical Demands:
Close vision with or without corrective lenses. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position is required to regularly stand, sit, walk and use all four limbs. System/Computer Requirements:
Know the quality and environmental policies. Adhere to procedures and work instructions. Know where relevant system documentation is located. Practice continuous improvement. Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment. Exposed to moving mechanical parts. Noise level is normally moderate
Work in all weather conditions, inside and out.
