Pay Range: $35/hr - 38/hr on W2 (The pay range may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

5 years’ experience in Mechanical Design and/or bachelor’s degree in related field. Preferably in Plastics Injection field. Experience in injection molding industry (i.e.: molds, tooling, machine, processing, repair...), preferred but not required. Experience with 3-D software (proficiently), Solidworks, Windows operations systems, and other Microsoft products, preferred, but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
