Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery while ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

1. Starting pay rate is $18/hr. Eligibility for promotion and pay raise at anytime during the first 180 days for excellent attendance and performance.

2. Initial training schedule (week 1-2) is 12PM to 8:30PM. After training period, regular 2nd shift schedule is 3:30pm-12AM.
3. Contract to Direct Hire position. Upon direct hire, employees get 3 weeks PTO, quarterly bonuses (up to 6%), and medical/dental insurance partially subsidized.
4. Must be able to read, write, and count in English. All employees get a daily work order sheet with the directions for the work order each day.

Duties

• Operate machinery that apply coatings to fasteners according to specifications.
• Handle materials effectively within the production area.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Report mechanical issues as they arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Skills

• Experience operating any type of industrial machine is preferred.
• Some mechanical knowledge is ideal.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
