Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license and active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working as an SLP in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, families, and outside specialists
- Compassion and enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for speech, language, or communication support
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services in one-on-one and group settings, focusing on speech, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team recommendations
- Maintain thorough and timely records of student progress and communication with families
