Job Title: Entry-Level Machine Operator / Inspector – Plastics Manufacturing
Location: Rockford, MI
Job Type: 2nd AND 3rd Shift Openings
Pay: $17/hr

Job Summary:
We are looking for motivated and reliable Entry-Level Machine Operators/Inspectors to join our growing plastics manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clean, fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to producing high-quality parts.

Responsibilities:

• Operate plastic molding or extrusion machines under the supervision of experienced staff

• Inspect plastic parts for quality and consistency using visual and basic measurement tools

• Trim, sort, and package finished products according to customer and production specifications

• Monitor machines for proper function and report any issues to supervisors or maintenance staff

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality control standards

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift

• Accurately complete production and inspection documentation

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• No prior experience needed – training will be provided

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

• Willingness to learn machine operation and quality inspection techniques

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with repetitive tasks
