Master Scheduler | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand forecasts, sales orders, and capacity constraints.
• Balance production capacity with demand requirements to ensure optimal resource utilization and customer service levels.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to integrate production plans with overall business objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and material availability, adjusting schedules as needed to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, production bottlenecks, and material constraints to maintain a smooth production flow.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as schedule adherence, forecast accuracy, and on-time delivery, driving continuous improvement.
• Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, providing input on production capabilities and constraints.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or master scheduling roles.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365) for production planning and execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles, production processes, and capacity planning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software (e.g., Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP APO)
• Experience utilizing data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for scheduling insights
• APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification
