Cnc Machinist
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on the 2nd shift, working from 4 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday. While weekends are not mandatory, there is an option to work on Saturdays if two team members are available. This role involves operating CNC Machines, including Mills, and supporting a small Boring Mill. You will receive daily tasks from the shift supervisor or team lead and will be responsible for running jobs that vary in duration. The parts are custom-made for automotive machines, utilizing in-house materials.
Responsibilities- Operate CNC Machines on the 2nd shift, including Mills and occasionally a small Boring Mill.
- Receive and execute daily job assignments from the shift supervisor or team lead.
- Run jobs that may vary from a few hours to several days, ensuring each part is crafted to specifications.
- Collaborate with the team to source materials for daily tasks.
- Work with a variety of machines, including five Mazak mills, a Femco boring mill, a Gilbert boring mill, and multiple manual lathes and mills.
- Handle materials such as aluminum, copper, brass, plastics, and primarily mild steel.
- Operate in a facility with older equipment, specifically a Femco, and be familiar with operating CNC on weldments and using the Fanuc controller.
- 5 years of experience in CNC machining on Mills.
- 5 years of experience in CNC Machine Setup.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and welding.
- Experience with Visi programming is a plus.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes operating older machines, such as the Femco, in a facility that houses multiple CNC machines and manual lathes. The shift runs from 4 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with optional Saturday work. The dress code is not specified, but expect a hands-on role in a manufacturing setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
