Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Invoice Processing Specialist to join our team. As an Invoice Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing invoices and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness

- Enter invoice data into the accounting system

- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents

- Resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices

- Process payments to vendors and suppliers in a timely manner

- Maintain accurate and organized records of all invoices and payments

- Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding payment status and inquiries

- Assist with month-end closing processes and reconciliations

- Provide support to the accounting team as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

- 2+ years of experience in invoice processing or accounts payable

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
