Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all manufacturing personnel, covering safety, operational procedures, quality standards, and equipment operation.
  • Assess training needs through performance reviews, skill gap analysis, and feedback from department managers.
  • Design and deliver engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, hands-on exercises, and e-learning modules.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, performance monitoring, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, completion dates, and assessment results.
  • Identify and vet external training providers or subject matter experts when specialized training is required.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure training content remains relevant and compliant.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing training programs, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • Ability to assess training needs, develop curriculum, and measure training effectiveness.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with lean manufacturing principles and their application in training programs
  • - Proficiency in developing and delivering e-learning modules or virtual training sessions
  • - Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) for tracking and reporting training progress
  • - Certification in adult learning methodologies or instructional design
