Custodian
MalaceHR is seeking Custodians in an commercial/manufacturing environment in Farmington Hills, MIÂ
- 4p-12:30a
- $15.00/hour
- MUST have reliable transportation and GREAT attendance.
- Temporary position for apx 1 month with possibility of being log term
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans
- Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures
- Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement
- Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure
- Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
- Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines
- Strips, scrubs, buffs, shampoos carpet and refinishes floors
- Performs other duties as assigned
While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer, we also handle various other tasks. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Removing and Bailing Cardboard
- Moving and stacking Pallets
- Floor cleaning
- Fork truck operation
Qualifications
- Previous custodial, janitorial, cleaning experience preferred
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Must have reliable transportation
