Cleanroom Technician
Join our team as a Cleanroom Technician in an exciting new EES Battery Storage unit program set to span the next 2-3 years. Initially, you will train on the 1st shift from 5:50 am to 2:05 pm until March 1st. After this date, you will transition to a Continental 4 crew model with shifts from 6 am to 6 pm. You will have the opportunity to be placed on a specific crew: A, B, C, or D.
Responsibilities- Perform overall manufacturing assembly at various operating stations throughout the battery line.
- Conduct quality checks on parts to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Pack and prepare parts for shipment.
- Assemble and sub-assemble battery packs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the cell and the facility as a whole.
- Train on multiple stations of the line, which may involve adding components to battery packs using torque tools and completing tasks by clicking a button.
- Ability to follow instructions and remain attentive throughout the entire orientation or scheduled shift, lasting 8-12 hours.
- Capability to learn multiple stations throughout the manufacturing process.
- Ability to stand on feet for the entire shift and stay active, with shifts possibly lasting 8-12 hours.
- Comfort in performing assigned tasks, which may include standing in one spot or moving around to break down boxes, move materials, or help load the line.
- 6 months of assembly or machine operating experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to keep cell phones off and stored in lockers during shifts.
- Ability to lift or move 15-20 pounds at a time.
- Strong ability to learn tasks and take direction.

Work EnvironmentWork in a brand new, $62 million temperature-controlled facility in Auburn Hills. The environment is very clean, with new equipment throughout the warehouse. You will wear lab coats, boots, and safety glasses as protective gear. Participate in orientation on the 1st shift during your first week, after which you will transfer to your desired shift.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
