Marine Technician – Houghton Lake, MIOutdoor Equipment Co. is looking for a motivated and dependable Marine Technician to join our Houghton Lake team. We are a fast-paced dealership serving customers across Northern Michigan with boats, personal watercraft, powersports equipment, lawn and garden equipment, and more.If you take pride in your work, can diagnose and repair equipment efficiently, and want to work in a shop that stays busy year-round, we want to talk to you.What You'll Be DoingDiagnose and repair boats, outboard motors, and personal watercraftPerform routine maintenance and seasonal serviceRig new units and install accessoriesTroubleshoot electrical, fuel, steering, and cooling systemsComplete warranty and customer repair work accuratelyKeep clean and detailed repair orders and notesWork closely with service advisors and parts staff to keep repairs movingWhat We're Looking ForMarine technician or mechanical experience preferredExperience with Mercury, Yamaha, Kawasaki, or similar brands is a plusStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilityAbility to work independently and stay productiveValid driver's licensePositive attitude and team mindsetWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceFull-time, year-round employmentEmployee discountsOpportunity for training and advancementBusy dealership with steady workflowSupportive team environmentLocationHoughton Lake, MichiganApply TodayOr stop into the Houghton Lake store and apply in person.Come join a team that works hard, takes care of customers, and keeps Northern Michigan on the water.
