Technical Writer

TEKsystems has a client that is looking to add a skilled Documentation Specialist to their IT group in Southfield, MI. They are currently working thru the re-certification process for TISAX & CMMC compliance. TISAX is a data security compliance standard that is used across the Automotive industry primarily when working with business partners in Germany. CMMC is a framework and certification program to meet compliance standards related to work within Department of Defense and Government entities.

They want to find a candidate with strong experience regarding technical writing and documentation processes. They are currently utilizing outside consultants to handle the specific workloads to meet the standards, but need someone to work with their internal IT teams to review and build documentation, SOP's, and materials related to the processes and procedures to guide compliance in the future. This person will be working with large IT programs and regularly interacting with stakeholders, SME's, technical resources, and management. The main focus would be documenting processes as well as identifying current gaps in procedures and changes that need to be made, however their process for publishing documents is something that would be taken on by another team member.

Beneficial experience in technical writing around programs such as: PCI, ISO, Sarbanes Oxley, or other large compliance/regulatory structures.

This is a Contract position based out of Southfield, MI.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
