Parts Packer - 3rd Shift

Your future starts here! If you like working with your hands and aren't afraid to work up a good sweat, join our team as a Parts Packer/ Injection Molding Operator. We'll provide you with two weeks of classroom and on the job training to ensure you feel comfortable working with our equipment and confident in knowing what makes a good product! Both of these roles involve working with equipment and packing/labeling products.

Royal has a team focused environment that places high value on customer and performance expectations being met. Based out of our Quincy or Corporate Grove facility in Hudsonville, this position reports directly to the team supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect and package finished product to ensure customer requirements are met
• Following work instructions (both visual and written)
• Complete necessary paperwork
• Perform essential functions of the role within safety guidelines
• Involvement in Safety and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Maintain a neat and organized work area by following 5S requirements

Skills & Requirements

• Self directed, takes initiative and possess good time management skills
• Completion of required production paperwork
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Effective communication (reporting on issues and shortages)
• Attention to detail
• Proven attendance and quality track records

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks 8+ hours/day
• Lifting up to 35lbs
• Limited bending and stooping
• Ability to use fingers, hands and arms to complete a task and handle product
• All employees must wear approved safety glasses

Starting Wage: $18.15/hour + quarterly bonuses + merit increases twice a year!

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or 3-5 years of solid manufacturing experience
• Willing and able to work overtime
• Able to lift 35 lbs
• Ability to work 3rd (12am-8am) shift
