Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, components, and MRO supplies.
• Source, evaluate, and select new suppliers while fostering strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts to achieve cost savings and optimize value.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with production needs and company objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with production and planning teams to forecast material needs and manage inventory levels.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages and price fluctuations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, and contract management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a purchasing team, driving cost reduction and supply chain efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with advanced analytics tools for spend analysis and forecasting
• Fluency in a second language relevant to global sourcing (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish, German)
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or other relevant professional certification
• Proven experience in implementing or optimizing an ERP/MRP system for purchasing functions
