Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on your next professional adventure supporting K-12 students as a School Social Worker for an extended contract opportunity. Work onsite with a vibrant special education district, making a tangible difference in the lives of students from a variety of backgrounds. This contract includes both summer and regular school-year assignments, offering up to 25 hours per week during the extended school year (6/30/2026–8/6/2026), and up to 35 hours weekly throughout the following academic year (8/17/2026–6/11/2027).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid, active School Social Worker (310) certification required (please submit your certification with your application)
• Prior experience working with K-12 students, particularly in special education settings, is highly desirable
• Deep understanding of social work practices as applied within schools
• Strong advocacy, communication, and collaboration skills
• If certification is not yet obtained, candidates must secure supervisory arrangements prior to interview consideration

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students within the K-12 special education population
• Assess student needs and develop individualized interventions to enhance overall well-being and academic success
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school administrators, and families to coordinate support plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and progress monitoring of student goals
• Maintain detailed, confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines
• Serve as a liaison connecting students and families with community resources
