Administrative & Property Management Assistant
Location: Newaygo, MI
Pay: $22–$25 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Start Date: Immediate
Brookeside Properties is seeking a highly organized Administrative & Property Management Assistant to support daily operations across our residential and commercial real estate portfolio.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with established systems, following detailed procedures, and keeping tasks organized and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Process rental applications and verify applicant information
- Manage tenant communications by phone, email, and text
- Prepare notices, lease documents, and other property management paperwork
- Assist with QuickBooks data entry and payroll processing
- Maintain electronic files and records
- Schedule maintenance, inspections and showings
- Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding items
- Perform general administrative and office support tasks
- Assist with special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Excellent organizational skills
- Professional communication skills
- Comfortable learning and following established procedures
- Reliable transportation
- Proficient with computers, email, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- Administrative assistant experience
- Property management experience
- QuickBooks experience
