Description of the role:

RN Home Care at University Home Care is a rewarding and fulfilling position for a skilled and compassionate registered nurse. As an RN Home Care, you will have the opportunity to provide personalized medical care and support to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Your role will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals, offering health assessments, administering medication, and coordinating patient care plans. With exceptional communication and organizational skills, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring the highest standard of care for each patient.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patients' conditions and adjust care plans as necessary
• Provide emotional support and educate patients and their families
• Coordinate and communicate with healthcare professionals and family members
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Michigan
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home care
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks
• Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
