PrideStaff is currently seeking a Commercial Paralegal Litigation Secretary for a prominent law firm located in Birmingham, Michigan.The Paralegal Litigation Secretary plays a vital role in supporting legal teams at both large national and mid-sized regional firms. This position handles a variety of responsibilities related to managing real estate disputes ranging from routine to high complexity, multi-party litigation. The assistant ensures smooth case progression through diligent document management, legal research, client communication, and trial support, including regular trial attendance when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize case documents and records efficiently
• Conduct legal research to support case development
• Communicate with clients professionally and promptly
• Coordinate scheduling for hearings, meetings, and depositions
• Assist with discovery processes, including document collection and review
• Handle filing and service of legal documents as required
• Provide trial support, including preparation and attendance
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain case correspondence

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in legal support roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or a related field
• Proficient in legal research and case management software
• Skilled in document drafting and discovery procedures
• Strong scheduling and client communication abilities
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
