What You’ll Do:

• Process day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Process accounts payable and assist with related reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll processing, salary management, and related reconciliations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities, preparing reports to aid leadership decision-making.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close.
• Collaborate with a small team to streamline processes and maintain strong internal controls.
• Contribute to special projects and help improve financial processes to better support the organization’s mission.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1 or more years of professional accounting experience, including preparation of monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flows).
• Experience with budgets, variance analysis, and both restricted/unrestricted grants reporting.
• Familiarity with preparing Form 5500s and 990s is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
• Willingness to work on-site three days a week in a supportive, small-office setting.
