Production Supervisor
Summary:
Responsible for leading diecast personnel on assigned shifts, overseeing hiring, attendance, training, and discipline. Ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently met. Supervises operators, process techs, and melters.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate daily expectations and hold employees accountable.
- Motivate and engage employees; support a positive work environment.
- Ensure part quality by following quality systems, control plans, and customer requirements.
- Monitor scrap levels, productivity, and process performance, support continuous improvement.
- Oversee diecast and trim setups; ensure proper training and cross-training.
- Immediately report non-conformances to Quality.
- Maintain housekeeping and enforce safety policies.
- Collaborate with other departments and assist in safety and quality programs.
- Complete required reports and documentation.
- Manage daily supply needs cost-effectively.
- Use Microsoft Office, shot monitoring systems, and manufacturing procedures effectively.
