Job Title: Machine Operator- 1st shift
Location: Oak Park, MI
Shift Hours: 1st shift (6:30am – 3pm, Monday – Friday)
Day-to-Day Role:
● Understand machine set-up, machine runs, handwork, or assembly assignments.
● Bend, reach, stoop, squat and stand for 8 hours.
● Have good hand-eye coordination.
● Tracking production numbers to ensure run speeds and unit counts are met.
● Maintaining quality expectations on every production run, recording any quality issues and communicating with team and leadership on any challenges requiring troubleshooting.
● Occasional lifting of 50 pounds and frequent lifting of 10-20 pounds.
Core Skills and Qualifications:
● Minimum of 6 months of experience working with mechanical equipment and hand tools.
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.
● Ability to read a tape measure.
