Salary Range: $67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing tooling, jigs, fixtures, and molds.
- Oversee the procurement, fabrication, and validation of new tooling projects.
- Manage the maintenance, repair, and modification of existing production tooling.
- Analyze tooling performance data to identify and implement improvements for efficiency and lifespan.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tooling-related production issues.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams on new product introduction, ensuring tooling readiness.
- Ensure all tooling adheres to quality standards, safety regulations, and operational specifications.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for tool design, simulation, and manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, stamping) and tooling principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of tool materials, heat treatment, and surface finishes.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and metrology for precision tooling.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve tooling performance and life cycle.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or mold/die flow simulation software.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) for tooling prototypes or components.
- Familiarity with automation and robotics integration in manufacturing processes.
