Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for experienced School Psychologists to provide on-site support in Monroe County, MI, during the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves working directly with students from kindergarten through 12th grade across multiple public schools within the area.
Key Details:
- Position Type: Contract (School Year 2026-2027 only)
- Location: Monroe, MI (Monroe Public schools, Dundee, Jefferson, and Airport)
- Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Student Age Group: K-12
- Number of Positions: 4
- On-site work required (no virtual assignments)
- Travel psychologists are encouraged to apply
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist license is mandatory (verification required upon application)
- Prior experience in school psychology preferred
- Ability to provide comprehensive psychological assessments and deliver interventions for a diverse student population
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to support student learning and mental health
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with district policies and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to developing supportive learning environments
