We are looking for an EPC Advanced Plant Trainee to join our Performance Materials team in Wyandotte, MI.

The Performance Materials division is at the forefront of the much-needed sustainability transformation in plastics. Our experts co-create products with customers to bring innovations to major industry sectors such as transportation, consumer goods, industrial applications, and construction.These solutions contribute to a sustainable future by pushing the boundaries in thermal resistance, robustness and lightweight applications.

As an EPC Advanced Trainee for our Performance Materials business unit, you will create a meaningful career while supporting a division that is active in four major industry sectors – transportation, consumer goods, industrial applications, and construction. The division has a strong portfolio of products and services combined with a deep understanding of application-oriented system solutions.

The Wyandotte Engineering Plastics Compounding plant in particular operates twin screw extruders to provide engineering plastics compounds, primarily to TIER 2 suppliers in the automobile industry.

**This position requires working 12-hour day or night shifts, depending on the needs of the plant. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work night shifts.

During your 12 hour day or night shift as a EPC Advanced Plant Trainee, you will

• Select, charge and mix raw materials
• Set-up and operate compounding equipment
• Participate in required training, both computer-based and through job shadowing with higher level technicians
• Learn to execute tasks consistently and reliably, with a safety-first mindset

If you...

• Possess a High School Diploma/ GED
• Have 6 months of experience in manufacturing or other industrial environments
