Travel Registered Sonographer Job
Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Registered Sonographer for travel assignments . The Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients . This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care .
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound imaging procedures to assess and diagnose medical conditions.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate imaging.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety .
- Work with radiologists and physicians to analyze ultrasound results.
- Record accurate patient history and imaging data .
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols .
- Maintain detailed reports and imaging documentation .
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Sonography program .
- Certification: ARDMS or equivalent Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in ultrasound imaging.
- Skills:
- Expertise in abdominal, obstetric, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound .
- Strong technical and analytical skills .
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities .
- Travel Readiness: Willing to relocate temporarily for travel assignments.
