Facilities Maintenance Specialist — Building Systems & HVAC

About the role

Picture your day: you start with a walkthrough of the facility, spot-checking equipment, listening for odd sounds, and reviewing overnight work orders. A rooftop HVAC unit needs attention, a production tool requires calibration, and a meeting space is being set for an event. You triage, repair, document, and keep people safe and productive. If that rhythm sounds like you, this role is a great fit.

What you'll handle

• Proactively inspect buildings and equipment to surface maintenance needs before they escalate.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Service and repair machinery, hand and power tools, and related equipment for peak reliability.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from team members and leadership.
• Complete all work to applicable safety codes, regulations, and internal standards.
• Maintain clear, accurate logs of inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with room setups, event configurations, and project build-outs.
• Collaborate with peers to refine maintenance workflows and best practices.

What you bring

• Hands-on maintenance experience (or closely related background) preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repair methods.
• Strong troubleshooting instincts and efficient problem resolution.
• Clear communication skills and a team-first mindset.
• Physical stamina to lift, carry, and perform manual tasks safely.
• Willingness to work varied shifts or overtime based on operational needs.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on assignments.
