Maintenance Manager – High-Volume Manufacturing Environment

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment . This role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of industrial maintenance , preventive maintenance systems , and continuous improvement strategies . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated machinery , mechanical systems , and electrical troubleshooting , along with proven success in managing maintenance teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting .

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department in a high-output production facility .

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.

• Supervise, train, and evaluate performance of maintenance technicians and support staff.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hydraulic , pneumatic , mechanical , and electrical systems .

• Manage spare parts inventory, tools, and critical equipment.

• Collaborate with production , quality , and engineering teams to support operational goals.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA , safety protocols , and environmental regulations.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, safety, and cost reduction.

• Lead capital projects related to facility upgrades , equipment installations , and process improvements .

• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for work order tracking and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance management within a high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment .

• Proven leadership experience overseeing multi-skilled maintenance teams .

• Strong knowledge of mechanical , electrical , PLC systems , and automation technologies.

• Experience with lean manufacturing , root cause analysis , and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) .

• Familiarity with compliance standards including OSHA , NFPA , and EPA regulations.

• Proficiency in using CMMS software , Microsoft Office, and technical documentation .

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering , Industrial Maintenance , or related field.

• Certifications such as CMM , Six Sigma , Lean Manufacturing , or Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) .

• Experience with automation systems , robotics , and smart manufacturing technologies .
