Medical Office Receptionist

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a friendly and organized Medical Office Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. This role is essential in creating a positive first impression and ensuring the efficient operation of our front office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in patients with a warm and professional demeanor.
• Manage incoming calls, answer inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate staff.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments using electronic scheduling system.
• Ensure all patient information is up-to-date and accurate.
• Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
• Ensure the reception area is clean and organized.
• Provide support to clinical staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service oriented job is preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Can use basic computer applications and search engines (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, Google).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• A compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
