Salary Range: $41,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final product inspections according to specifications.
• Utilize precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product dimensions.
• Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in quality records.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming materials, initiating appropriate containment procedures.
• Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality standards to ensure product compliance.
• Perform calibration and maintenance of inspection and test equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications (GD&T knowledge preferred).
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality control methodologies.
• Experience performing inspections, identifying non-conformances, and documenting results.
• Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data collection.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMM operation or programming.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement training.
• Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis.
• Internal auditing experience (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
