What You'll Do

As a Caregiver at Birch Meadows Senior Care, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance their quality of life.
• Monitoring residents’ health and reporting any changes to the appropriate team members.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents, including light housekeeping tasks.
• Supporting residents with mobility, including pushing or pulling wheelchairs and assisting with transfers.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is not only reliable but also genuinely enjoys caring for others. Here’s what we’re looking for in a candidate:

• Physical ability : Must be able to push/pull 50+ pounds and stand for 4+ hours at a time.
• Compassionate nature : A warm and empathetic approach to caregiving.
• Team player : Willingness to collaborate with other staff members to provide the best care possible.
• No prior experience required : We welcome individuals who are new to caregiving but are eager to learn and grow in this role.
