Role Snapshot

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision components and plastic injection molds
• Execute 2D/3D strategies from CAD models and technical drawings
• Deploy probing systems, laser tool setting, and macros for efficient setups
• Troubleshoot, optimize feeds/speeds, and improve machining processes
• Own tooling setups, fixture swaps, and fine machine adjustments

Skills & Experience

• 3–5+ years in CNC machining and programming
• Strong CNC setup/operation fundamentals
• CAD/CAM proficiency and 2D/3D machining experience
• Comfort with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls
• Injection mold background preferred

Stand-Out Plus

• 5-axis machining
• Gundrill / Unisig
• Tebis programming (training available)
• Experience with Makino, Fidia, and DMG machines
• Heat shrinking systems and FCS fixture clamping systems
• Laser probing/tool setting, machine macros, 3D surface machining

Schedule & Pay

• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
• 50–55 hours/week; typical 5-hour weekend coverage as needed
• Overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours
• $23–$33/hour DOE + 8% shift premium

Shop Environment & Physical Demands

• Manufacturing floor setting
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts
• Stand, walk, bend, climb, push, and pull during the shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and transportation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
