You will collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and program teams to ensure each commodity group deliver a resilient, cost effective, and innovative supply network. **What you'll do...** + Define and lead the commercial strategy and cost roadmaps for low-voltage power supply systems (e.g., 12 V lead-acid, lithium-ion, sodium-ion) and power supply architecture (ultracapacitors, protective DCDC, alternators & starters, Belt-driven Integrated Starter Generator) for ICE, HEV and EV platforms. + Manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure adherence to contractual agreements and performance metrics. + Forecast long-term commodity demand in alignment with product programs, manufacturing capacity, and global material availability. + Drive strategic sourcing initiatives and dual sourcing strategies to reduce supply risk and total cost of ownership. + Manage supplier selection, supplier engineering collaboration, key launch readiness milestones, and ongoing supplier quality/performance for low-voltage batteries and power supply subsystems. + Support cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, finance, sustainability, quality, global supply chain) to ensure an efficient and affordable low-voltage battery/power supply system into our vehicle programs. + Oversee cost, weight, reliability, safety, and performance targets for the low-voltage system, while driving continuous improvement and innovation (e.g., exploration of next-generation chemistries or architectures). + Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. + Provide leadership, coaching and professional development for your procurement team. + Communicate status, risks and mitigation plans to senior management and stakeholders; influence multi-year plans for low-voltage battery supply and power architecture. **You'll have...** + Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field + Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in battery systems, power supply systems, or automotive electrical architecture. + At least 3-5 years' experience leading a team of procurement professionals and proven ability to manage supplier relationships and execute complex negotiations. + Experience with Ford internal systems, supply chain planning tools, and data analytics. + Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with ability to work effectively across functions and supplier networks. + Willingness to travel domestically (and limited internationally) to supplier sites, manufacturing locations and vehicle program launches as needed. **Even better, you may have...** + Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. + Prior experience in automotive electrification programs, especially low-voltage or power supply systems for EVs or hybrids. + Understanding of next generation battery chemistries for low-voltage applications (e.g., lithium-ion, sodium-ion) and trending architectures. + Knowledge of Ford's internal systems and tools (e.g., FEDE release system, Teamcenter, JAMA, WERS) or equivalent. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills. + Experience with global supplier base and multicultural teams.
