When you join Visioneering, you're not just starting a new job- you're becoming part of a team that designs and builds precision tooling and manufacturing solutions that support some of the world's leading aerospace programs.Position: WelderSchedule: Day Shift (Monday- Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p) Night Shift (Monday- Friday 4p-2:45a) Summary of PositionUnder the supervision of the department supervisor, welders are responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal components using various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding. This role interprets blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to produce high‑quality welds that meet engineering and safety specifications. Duties include setting up welding equipment, preparing materials, performing welds to required tolerances, inspecting finished work, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Welders must follow all company, OSHA, and quality standards, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. They must have stamina, the ability to lift heavy loads, be able to concentrate on performing tasks and commit to safety rules. Essential FunctionsDaily roles include collaborating in a team-oriented environment with cross functional workers.MIG and TIG weld small and large components Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errorsFollow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, safety glasses, protective masks, and safety shoesMonitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperatureWeld components in diverse positions (i.e., flat, vertical, and overhead positions)Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance Other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills and CompetenciesCertified in TIG and MIG weldingAbility to read weld notesAbility to read blueprints in detailAbility to identify and find specificationsKnowledge of geometric tolerances (understand and recognize all symbols)Thorough understanding of general tolerancesComprehend sections and viewsUnderstand reference systemAbility to locate and read stock list on drawingAbility to operate pressesUse of hand tools (drill motors, grinders, etc.)Ability to saw, miter, and fit fabrications (fit and tack)High School diploma or GED requiredApply today and build your future with Visioneering.
