Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our dynamic team in Vicksburg, MI. As a Process Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our production processes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Monitor and optimize production processes to ensure maximum efficiency and quality.
- Conduct routine inspections and tests on equipment and products to maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
- Document process changes and maintain accurate records of production metrics.
- Assist in the training of new team members on process protocols and safety procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Process Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment with a focus on plastics.
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
