Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of fabrication technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Oversee the fabrication process, ensuring all manufactured components meet quality standards and engineering specifications.
• Coordinate daily production activities, including task assignment, material management, and equipment utilization.
• Train and mentor fabrication team members on best practices, safety procedures, and new techniques.
• Monitor equipment performance, conduct routine inspections, and report maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures within the fabrication area.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to maintain fabrication efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in various fabrication processes (e.g., welding, cutting, forming) and blueprint interpretation.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of fabricators in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and application of quality control standards and inspection techniques.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to EHS regulations.
• Ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize production workflows.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced CAD/CAM software for tooling and fixture design.
• Demonstrated experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Certifications in specialized welding processes (e.g., orbital welding, laser welding) or advanced material forming techniques.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory management.
