Custodian

Commercial Cleaner-
1st shift Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
Pay- $16.50 per hour

Reports to : Area Manager, Operations Manager

Common tasks include but are not limited to :
• Dust ve rtical and horizontal surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect vertical and horizontal surfaces including fixtures in places like restrooms,
offices, break rooms , and/or kitchenettes.
• Replenish supplies . i.e. toilet paper/paper towel in restrooms, break rooms , and kitchens.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and/or hand scrub floors using brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners .
• Operate mechanical cleaning equipment, Drive and walk - behind scrubbers and vacuum clean-
ers ( b ack - pack, upright, canister vacuums).
• Remove garbage including emptying and relining trash cans and recyclables into disposal ar-
eas .

• Detail oriented – pays attention to details at each customer’s location, with extra attention to any
special requests.
• Friendly and Professional – able to deal with customers when they are on - site while cleaning is
being performed.

• Self - starter – able to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do
so.
• Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities.
• Reasoning ability. Good common sense with ability to solve practical problems.
• Impeccable service - willing to do the little extras that provide the WOW factor.

Work Environment
• Physical demands include walking and standing, climbing, bending, kneeling to clean floors by
hand, push and pull objects, lifting and moving objects (including up to 50 lbs. ), repetitive bend-
ing and lifting, and repetitive arm movements.
• When traveling to multiple buildings in a day’s work you will be paid travel time and a gas and
vehicle per diem is available. The gas and vehicle per diem will be assessed on a case by case
basis depending on the amount of travel required.

Education, Certifications and/or Experience
• High School Diploma desired
• Valid Driver’s License
