Role Overview
This role is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end deployment process, including contractor oversight, permitting, scheduling, and on-site execution to ensure successful project delivery. The position oversees deployment teams, coordinates internal and external resources, and ensures adherence to safety, quality, and budget requirements. It requires strong project management capabilities, including proactive risk identification, decision-making, and accountability for timelines and outcomes across multiple sites. The role also focuses on continuous improvement, team development, and maintaining strong customer and stakeholder relationships to drive successful deployments.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Overall creation and management of the deployment process including:
Contractor selection, onboarding, training and reviews
General contractors as required for site prep and utilities
Proper permitting and licensing dependent on municipality
Contractor Capacity planning
Customer safety and contractor protocols
Schedule adherence by deployment team
Determine on-site POC requirements and ensure staffing is available
Determine internal resources required to support on-site teams and work with proper functional managers to ensure that support is available.
Direct supervision of Deployment team
Understand customer's Deployment requirements and speaks their language including permitting, General contractor, utilities, installation inspections and permit closure.
Acceptance and sharing of best practices and lessons learned, continuously improving the JR Deployment process.
In-depth understanding of the deployment process and budget for each project.
Proactive decision analysis capabilities; takes into consideration size, complexity, visible and unknown risks, timelines, etc.
Assist with the successful management of Deployment projects as they relate to cost, quality, safety, timing and customer satisfaction.
Develop the Deployment team through leadership, mentoring, and training.
Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management system (ISO 9001:2015).
Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
Work with other departments to create and maintain a list of approved deployment contractors
Manage overall deployment schedule ensuring resources are distributed as required.

Effectively manage and prioritize concurrent deployments across multiple sites to ensure on-time, high-quality execution.

Own project accountability. Within the project schedule, hold the team and the Customer accountable for required deliverables.
Lead and make decisions for JR’s long-term success.
Ability to travel 20% of the time with extended stays at customer sites and non-standard working hours.
3-5 years Project Management experience
Experience in construction processes and requirements related to permitting and licensing
Strong technical background
Automation equipment install experience
Moderately advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and MS Project
Ability to become proficient in company systems, processes, and tools
