Position Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, this role supervises real estate partnership accounting and supports tax and financial reporting across multiple entities.

Responsibilities:

• Jointly supervise five partnership accountants with four other supervisors
• Mentor and support the professional development of partnership accountants
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting deliverables
• Review partnership financials, IRS Form 1065s and 1099 filings
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers
• Communicate with lenders, investors, and other stakeholders
• Support special projects in reporting, compliance, and automation

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency with general ledger systems and financial reporting
• Strong Excel and Word skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Self-starter with keen attention to detail

Preferred:

• Prior supervisory or management experience
• Masters’ degree in accounting or CPA
• Experience with real estate partnerships
• Familiarity with Timberline / Sage 300 and QuickBooks
