Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and trends to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage inventory costing, valuation, and reconciliation, including cycle count adjustments.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and analyses for management decision-making.
• Investigate and explain production cost variances against standards and budgets.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts related to manufacturing costs.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Proficiency with SQL for data extraction and analysis
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
