Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of production, maintenance, and administrative staff.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental compliance.
• Manage plant budget, control expenses, and identify opportunities for continuous cost reduction.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain, maintenance, and quality processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, P&L, and drive operational efficiency.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on safety and quality culture.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Experience managing a unionized workforce
• Proficiency with advanced Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or specific ERP modules (e.g., SAP PP/QM)
• Proven track record in successful capital project management
