Salary: $45,000–$65,000 (based on experience)

A global automotive manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join its U.S. operations in Troy, Michigan. This full-time, on-site role offers hands-on experience, career growth, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic international team.
Responsibilities:
Process accounting transactions including vendor bills, purchase invoices, and bank activity
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy
Monitor customer and supplier aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
Prepare payment runs and assist with tax and social declarations
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable balances
Classify and archive accounting documents in accordance with internal procedures
Support external consultants with financial statement preparation and audit documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3–4 years of accounting experience (automotive or manufacturing experience preferred)
Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
